Zaki al-Dīn ʿAbd al-ʿAẓīm ibn ʿAbd al-Qawī al-Mundhirī (581–656 AH)

An eminent Egyptian hadith scholar and Shafi’i jurist, best known for compiling at-Targhīb wa at-Tarhīb, a collection of hadiths encouraging virtuous deeds and discouraging sins. He taught at Dar al-Ḥadīth al-Kāmiliyya in Cairo and was esteemed for his expertise in hadith sciences.
