Al-Qurtubi (671H)
Abū ʿAbd Allāh Muḥammad ibn Aḥmad al-Qurṭubī (d. 671 AH)
A distinguished Andalusian Maliki scholar and Quranic exegete, renowned for his comprehensive tafsir al-Jāmiʿ li-Aḥkām al-Qurʾān. After the fall of Córdoba, he relocated to Egypt, where he continued his scholarly pursuits until his death.
