Ṣadr al-Dīn Abū al-Ḥasan ʿAlī ibn Abī al-ʿIzz al-Ḥanafī (731–792 AH)

A Syrian Hanafi jurist and theologian, best known for his commentary on al-ʿAqīdah al-Ṭaḥāwiyyah, where he provided a detailed exposition of Sunni creed. His work has been influential in articulating orthodox Islamic beliefs.
