Muwaffaq al-Dīn ʿAbd Allāh ibn Aḥmad ibn Qudāmah al-Maqdisī (541–620 AH)

A leading Hanbali jurist and theologian from Palestine, renowned for his seminal work al-Mughnī, a comprehensive manual of Hanbali jurisprudence. He was a student of Shaykh ʿAbd al-Qādir al-Jīlānī and participated in the military campaigns under Ṣalāḥ al-Dīn al-Ayyūbī.
