Ibn Uqbah (141H)

Mūsā ibn ʿUqba al-Madanī (d. 141 AH)

A respected early Muslim historian and student of Nāfiʿ and Ibn Shihāb al-Zuhrī. He is best known for his Maghāzī (book of military campaigns), considered one of the earliest and most reliable sources on the life of the Prophet Muḥammad ﷺ. His work was praised by Mālik ibn Anas and remains a key reference in prophetic biography and early Islamic history.
