Men & The Universe: Reflections of Ibn al-Qayyim

This book was originally a section of Ibn al-Qayyim’s Miftāḥ Dār al-Saʿādah (Key to the Abode of Happiness). This section was extracted due to its discussion of some of the Signs of Allah in human beings and in the universe. Ibn al-Qayyim’s work was selected for its insightful and meaningful wisdom.

Another outstanding characteristic of this book is that Ibn al-Qayyim calls for the use of intellect and self-reflection. He encourages the reader to deeply contemplate the creation of Allah, the Most High—in the human being, existence, animals, and nature.

The compiler, Capt. Anas Abdul-Hameed al-Qoz, supports Ibn al-Qayyim’s writing by including modern scientific discoveries, useful notes, and beneficial illustrations that help achieve the intended purpose.
