Yūsuf ibn ʿAbd Allāh ibn Muḥammad ibn ʿAbd al-Barr al-Namarī al-Andalusī (368–463 AH)
A prominent Maliki jurist and hadith scholar from al-Andalus, celebrated for his works al-Tamhīd and al-Istidhkār, which provide comprehensive commentary on Mālik’s Muwaṭṭaʾ. He is often referred to as the ”Bukhārī of the West” for his contributions to hadith literature.
