**Explanation of the Ḥadīth:
“The Blissful Person Is the One Who Has Been Kept Away from Fitan”**
The true meaning of this ḥadīth is that the blessed servant is the one whom Allāh protects from fitan and shields from their harm. It is not befitting for a Muslim to seek out fitan, expose himself to them, or become entangled in their destructive consequences.
Rather, Islām commands the believer to keep his distance, to avoid fitan, and to strive for safety from their evil. The goal is protection—not involvement. Therefore, the servant should seek refuge in Allāh and ask Him for well-being (ʿāfiyah), for whoever is granted well-being has truly been given immense good.
